Traveling Electrician – AC/DC, Headend & Communication Sites – Missoula, MT

Anchor Electric Contracting Corp is hiring an experienced electrician with AC/DC and telecom-style site experience for headend rooms and communication sites based out of Missoula, MT.

Location: Based in Missoula, MT (Travel Required)

Job Type: Full-Time | Overtime Eligible | Travel Required

About the Role:

We are hiring a Traveling Electrician with strong AC and DC experience to work in headend rooms, communication sites, and telecom-style facilities. You’ll support power and infrastructure for critical communications equipment while earning steady overtime and traveling to sites in the region.

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair AC and DC power systems feeding equipment in headend rooms, telecom rooms, and communication sites.
• Run and terminate branch circuits, DC feeds, and grounding for racks, rectifiers, battery plants, and associated equipment.
• Work inside headend/communication spaces to support racks, power distribution, and related infrastructure while maintaining clean, organized cable routing.
• Read and interpret one-lines, site drawings, and wiring diagrams for headend and communication facilities.
• Troubleshoot power and infrastructure issues and restore service with minimal downtime.
• Travel to multiple sites and work overtime, including occasional nights or weekends, as projects require.

Qualifications:

• Journeyman Electrician license preferred (will consider strong apprentices or techs with solid DC/telecom power experience). ​
• Experience working with both AC and DC systems; telecom, data center, headend, or communication site background is a plus.
• Ability to work safely in live environments and follow all PPE and safety procedures.
• Comfortable traveling regularly and working overtime when needed.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. ​
