Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Review product requirements and design documents and create effective testing strategies.
  • Plan and execute UI testing activities, including test plans, test cases, and automated tests.
  • Build, maintain, and improve test automation frameworks and automation infrastructure.
  • Develop standards for continuous build and deployment, automated testing, and end-to-end testing.
  • Maintain PS5 devices used for testing.
  • Manage Jenkins jobs and report their statuses.
  • Collaborate with developers and product owners to ensure features and bug fixes have automated test coverage.
  • Assist with production deployment support and post-release activities.
  • Report, track, and verify defects.
  • Promote quality improvements, best practices, and process improvements within the team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent knowledge.
  • Experience building and executing test plans and test cases.
  • Experience writing automated tests in Python, JavaScript, or another programming language.
  • Understanding of automation testing frameworks such as pytest.
  • Experience configuring test pipelines for continuous integration, with Jenkins preferred.
  • Practical experience using Git, Jenkins, and Appium.
  • Experience with test case management systems, including JIRA, QTest, or QMetry.
  • Ability to estimate effort and feature size.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies.
  • Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
