About this Role:

As a Director Product Leader, you will define and execute the strategic vision for multiple product offerings supporting Pharma and Life Sciences clients, translating market trends, customer insights, and industry requirements into scalable, differentiated solutions.

You will serve as a recognized expert, solving complex challenges, influencing key stakeholders, and shaping product and service strategy. This role blends product lifecycle management, domain expertise, and cross-functional leadership to deliver offerings that align with client needs and market demand.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of product and service offerings, including concept, specification, launch, adoption, performance, and retirement within the pharma and life sciences domain
  • Establish strategic vision and develop roadmaps for multiple product offerings aligned to industry-specific trends, regulatory environments, and client priorities
  • Define product value propositions and target markets, ensuring alignment with pharmaceutical, biotech, and life sciences customers
  • Conduct market analysis, customer research, and competitive assessments, including evolving life sciences technologies, data, and compliance requirements
  • Partner with technology teams to define technical strategy, architecture, and feasibility of product concepts, including solutions supporting clinical, regulatory, or commercial operations
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and delivery teams to support go-to-market execution and revenue growth within life sciences segments
  • Drive continuous improvement of products, services, and delivery strategy through data insights and market feedback
  • Lead and contribute to complex projects, solving unique problems with broad business impact
  • Influence and align stakeholders across the organization and client environments
  • Anticipate industry, market, and regulatory challenges and recommend products, service, or process enhancements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, life sciences, technology, or a related discipline
  • Deep expertise in product management, solutions development, or a related technical or commercial domain [VP, BU Chi...2]_Default | Word]
  • Experience supporting pharmaceutical, biotech, CRO, or broader life sciences clients or solutions (e.g., clinical operations, patient engagement, data/analytics, or regulatory environments)
  • Proven experience managing product lifecycles and developing strategic roadmaps
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to address complex, ambiguous challenges
  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects and influence cross-functional stakeholders
  • Experience partnering with technical teams to define product architecture and delivery models
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics, competitive positioning, and customer needs within life sciences and healthcare ecosystems
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate product value
  • Recognized as a subject matter expert with the ability to contribute to functional strategy and organizational direction

Pay Transparency:

Pay Transparency Laws in some locations require disclosure of compensation and/or benefits-related information.  For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation and/or sick time. The estimated salary range for this role is $160,000 - $180,000.
