Job Description

The Orange EV Sales Operations Manager will be responsible for sales support operations, order processing, data integrity, and customer success. This role requires an experienced operator who can navigate ERP, CRM, reporting, and business intelligence systems overseeing critical operational processes ensuring the accuracy and alignment of internal reporting documents while driving continuous improvement. As a key leadership position supporting a complex product and sales process, this role requires deep sales operations experience, strong people management skills, and operating as a key partner with the Director of Sales Operations.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business management, operational management, or related field.
  • 5+ years of hands-on sales operations experience with demonstrated ability to work across ERP, CRM, reporting, and business intelligence systems.
  • 5+ years of people leadership experience with equal weight to operational expertise.
  • Deep operational expertise paired with the discipline to delegate, set standards, coach the team, and ensure quality, while empowering the team to own execution.
  • Proven ability to build systems and processes from scratch, implement new ideas with measurable outcomes, and continuously improve operational effectiveness.
  • Strong ability to set clear expectations, follow through on commitments, and maintain consistent standards across the team.
  • Strong project management capabilities with exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with ability to influence at all levels.
  • Demonstrated capacity to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
  • Strategic thinking balanced with tactical execution to manage multiple competing priorities.
  • Cross-functional collaboration skills with a reputation as a trusted partner.

  • Proficiency in business software (Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in manufacturing, fleet, logistics, or clean energy industries
  • Background in leading teams through periods of high growth or organizational change while maintaining operational discipline
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce CRM (administration, reporting, data management) strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with EOS/Traction methodology and Quarterly Rocks

Key Competencies

  • Team Leadership and Development : Lead, coach, and develop a sales support team, manage performance, and foster of culture of accountability and teamwork.
  • Operational Process Ownership : Manage accuracy and daily alignment of internal reporting ensuring data integrity and consistency across all platforms that support order tracking, sales reporting, and operational visibility.
  • Communication & Reporting : Oversee the development and maintenance of sales support materials, processes, and documentation facilitating cross-functional work as needed to drive alignment and outcomes.
  • Strategic Partnership : Serve as a key liaison between field sales and headquarters functions identifying opportunities for improvement through analysis of sales metrics and team performance.

Role will be based full-time in our Kansas City, KS office (not a remote or hybrid role)
