Job Description

We are seeking a Product Designer to support developer web experiences across various developer tools, programming frameworks, and technical web ecosystems.

This role partners closely with design, product and engineering to prototype, validate, and ship end to end web experiences that are visually engaging, user friendly, and aligned with our brand and mission.

Product/Web Designer

• Participates in the creative visual design and UX design process helping produce the visual language and interaction patterns for a cohesive set of components and experiences.

• Creates a variety of visual and UX design documents including mood boards, storyboards, creative briefs, layouts, interaction patterns, guidance for implementation and redlines for a set of products, tools, and services.

• Creates wireframes, journey maps, user jobs and scenarios, task flows, and personas in support of interaction designs for website experiences.

• Conceptualizes and delivers artifacts at various levels of fidelity. Participates in the development and enhancement of product user experience via creation of interaction models and detailed designs for new and existing product features.

• Ensures that the designs of the products allow the user to complete the desired functions.

• Efficiently prototypes for new products and features while ensuring brand, design and accessibility standards are met.

• Collaborates with key stakeholders (Engineering, PM, Design) to successfully align design solutions to business, technical, and user requirements. Collaborates with Engineering to ensure implemented designs align to design specifications. Works with stakeholders to iterate further on designs during implementation to ensure optimal designs.

• May help build and manage assets for a design system (e.g., content templates, icons, form design, user-interface controls, navigation models, illustrations).

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, User Experience, Human Interaction Design, or equivalent work experience

• Portfolio demonstrating strong design fundamentals, including well-crafted UI, clear layouts, basic systems thinking, and the ability to explain design decisions and tradeoffs

• Solid foundation in visual design, interaction design and UX principles, including usability, accessibility, and inclusive design best practices

• 4+ years of end-to-end design process experience, including shipping products and web experiences to customers

• Proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools, including Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, with examples of high-quality design artifacts produced (i.e. wireframes, mockups)

• Experience with rapid prototyping workflows and iterative design

• Experience working with AI-assisted tools for prototyping is preferred

• Ability to adapt quickly as tools, platforms, and processes evolve

• Experience that demonstrates proven ability to advocate for design thinking, effectively influence design outcomes, discover problems and tackle them in fast-paced environments

• Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to present work clearly and receive feedback constructively
