Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Operator for to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining fermentation tanks and various food production machinery, including packaging machinery, labelers, vats, dryers, and conveyor systems. This position requires adherence to safety protocols and GMP standards, ensuring a high level of product quality and sanitation.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain fermentation tanks and food production machinery.
  • Perform sanitation duties to maintain cleanliness and safety.
  • Weigh and count products accurately.
  • Check in and out materials with precision.
  • Complete Disassembly, Clean, Reassembly (DCRs) processes safely and efficiently.
  • Print labels accurately.
  • Conduct minor quality inspections of products.
  • Record data of products being manufactured.

Essential Skills

  • Experience with fermentation, formulation, and sterile processing.
  • Knowledge in food manufacturing and LOTO (1+ year).
  • Experience operating production machinery in a GMP environment (1+ year).
  • Sanitation duties experience (1+ year).
  • Packaging experience (1+ year).
  • Proficiency in documentation review and quality inspection.
  • Familiarity with aseptic techniques.

  • Ability to accurately record production data.

Work Environment

Work in a GMP-compliant, climate-controlled facility. Optional overtime is available, offering flexibility for additional hours. Adherence to GMP codes is required, including wearing safety glasses, steel-toed boots, pants without holes, hair nets, and beard nets

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Windsor, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr.
