Responsibilities:
· Teach history/social studies to junior high students (grades 6–8)
· Develop and implement engaging, standards-aligned lesson plans
· Encourage thoughtful discussion, inquiry, and historical analysis
· Integrate primary sources, projects, and real-world connections
· Assess student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback
· Foster a respectful and inclusive classroom environment
Requirements:Qualifications:
· Valid Arizona teaching certification (or ability to obtain)
· Experience teaching middle school or junior high history preferred
· Strong classroom management and communication skills
· Passion for history and student engagement
