We are seeking a talented and versatile individual to join our team as an Intern Web Developer. This role will involve various responsibilities, including setting up web environment, setting up CMS theme, and some html, CSS, JavaScript development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in WordPress, web design, taxonomy, possess excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with designer, and sales teams.

Primary position responsibilities include:

Coding and Development:

  • Assist in writing, testing, and maintaining code for web applications.
  • Collaborate with the development team on implementing new features and functionalities.
  • Identify and fix bugs, troubleshoot issues, and conduct testing to ensure web application functionality and performance.

Testing and Debugging:

Version Control & Documentation:

  • · Use version control systems (e.g., Git) to manage code repositories and collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for code, processes, and project-related information.
  • Implement and adhere to security best practices to ensure the integrity and safety of web applications.

Security Best Practices:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in technical school or college. Background in computer coding required including understanding of web development languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with WordPress architecture, themes, and plugins.
  • Ability to manage and update content on a WordPress website.
  • Strong analytics and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve basic coding issues.
  • Clear communication skills for effective collaboration within a team.
  • Attention to detail to maintain the integrity of the website's coding and content.
  • Eagerness to learn and stay updated with WordPress best practices and new features.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to projects.
  • Basic time management skills to meet project deadlines.
  • Capability to handle and solve minor technical issues independently.
  • Enrollment in or completion of relevant coursework in web development, computer science, or a related field.

Internship Details & Benefits:

  • Full-time, short-term internship (40 hours per week) through December 2026, based in our Minneapolis office
  • Full-time, short-term temporary internship (40 hours per week) through December 2026, based in our Minneapolis office
  • Scheduled during standard business hours, Monday through Friday
  • Availability required between 8:00 AM and 7:00 PM; specific schedule to be determined within these hours
  • 100% employer-paid parking or bus pass
  • Paid time off accrual of one hour for every 30 hours worked

Successful completion of:

  • Criminal background check
  • Verification of employment history, education, and licenses
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without present or future sponsorship (e.g., H-1B, L-1, TN). Candidates on or for CPT/OPT are ineligible.
