About the Role:

As an Install Apprentice at ACS Macon, you will play a crucial role in supporting the installation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. Your primary responsibility will be to assist experienced technicians in the installation process, ensuring that all systems are set up efficiently and according to safety standards. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the HVAC industry while learning from skilled professionals. You will also be involved in troubleshooting and resolving installation issues, contributing to the overall success of our projects. Ultimately, your work will help ensure that our clients receive high-quality climate control solutions that enhance their comfort and satisfaction.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation with a CLEAN driving record.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions.
• Will be floating between departments - Shop / Rough Ins / Change out helper - GREAT opportunity to learn all of HVAC!!

Responsibilities:

• Assist lead installers in the installation of HVAC systems in residential and commercial settings for retrofit and new construction.
• Help with the preparation and organization of tools and materials needed for installation projects within the shop.
• Participate in the testing and inspection of installed systems to ensure proper functionality.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients to provide updates on project progress.

Skills:

The required skills for this position include strong communication abilities, which will be essential for collaborating with team members and interacting with clients. Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy equipment are necessary for performing installation tasks effectively.
