Job Description

HVAC Project Manager – Salary based on experience between $125k to 175k

Responsibilities

• Manage HVAC construction projects from startup through closeout 
• Review contracts, drawings, specifications, and project scope 
• Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and schedules 
• Prepare and monitor project budgets, labor projections, and cost tracking 
• Work closely with field supervisors, foremen, and office staff 
• Attend project meetings with owners, general contractors, engineers, and subcontractors 
• Prepare and process submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project documentation 
• Monitor project progress and ensure schedules are maintained 
• Identify and resolve project issues proactively 
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards 
• Manage customer relationships and maintain professional communication 
• Assist with closeout documentation 
• Support estimating and turnover processes when needed 

Qualifications

• Experience in HVAC project management or mechanical construction management 
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, construction processes, and project coordination 
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and contracts 
• Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills 
• Experience managing budgets, schedules, and multiple projects simultaneously 
• Ability to work effectively with customers, vendors, subcontractors, and field personnel 
• Experience with commercial HVAC projects 
• Knowledge of union labor and prevailing wage requirements 
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred
