Fleet & Transportation Manager

— Xenia, Ohio (Hybrid)

Position Overview

is seeking a highly organized and operationally driven Fleet & Transportation Manager to oversee our trucking operations supporting nationwide tours, conventions, and live events. This role will be based in Xenia, Ohio, working in a hybrid full-time environment, and will play a critical role in ensuring our transportation department operates safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.

The ideal candidate will bring strong experience managing trucking operations, drivers, compliance, fleet readiness, and logistics coordination in a fast-paced operational environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure all administrative, legal, safety, and tax requirements remain compliant with DoT, state, and local regulations.
• Oversee the operational readiness and maintenance of the DanceOne trucking fleet, ensuring vehicles remain safe, compliant, and prepared for nationwide travel.
• Coordinate preventative maintenance schedules and repair timelines while balancing operational demands and event schedules.
• Ensure the organization maintains sufficient fleet assets to support all assigned logistical and transportation needs.
• Manage and support a team responsible for coordinating and overseeing dozens of CDL and non-CDL drivers across the country.
• Partner closely with HR and Operations to ensure proper staffing levels for drivers and transportation support roles.
• Monitor driver compliance documentation including licenses, certifications, medical cards, training records, and DoT requirements.
• Utilize fleet and transportation technology platforms to manage logistics, compliance, safety, and driver performance.
• Support route planning, transportation scheduling, and operational logistics tied to DanceOne tours, events, and productions.
• Maintain high standards around safety, communication, accountability, and operational execution.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of DoT, state, and local transportation regulations related to FTL and LTL transportation operations.
• Experience managing privately held fleet operations and transportation logistics.
• Hands-on experience with:
  • Samsara
  • DoT Clearinghouse
  • TenStreet
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Experience supervising drivers and transportation support staff.

Preferred Qualifications

• CDL license preferred.
• Experience supporting live events, touring operations, entertainment, sports, or large-scale logistics operations is a plus.
