Job Description:
Seeking an ETL Engineer to support the development and optimization of a new Microsoft Fabric-based data platform environment. This role will focus on building and maintaining ETL pipelines, supporting reporting and analytics initiatives, and improving data flow across multiple systems and business teams.

This is a highly hands-on engineering role centered around Microsoft Fabric, Python-based ETL development, SQL, and modern data pipeline automation within an agile, collaborative environment.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain ETL/data pipelines within Microsoft Fabric
• Develop and optimize Python-based data workflows and SQL queries
• Support data movement across multiple internal and external systems
• Assist with reporting and analytics data preparation for business users and analysts
• Monitor pipeline performance and troubleshoot data-related issues
• Automate manual data processes and improve overall data efficiency
• Collaborate with analysts, data teams, and business stakeholders to support reporting needs
• Participate in agile sprint ceremonies and communicate project progress proactively
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and security standards are maintained
• Document pipeline processes, workflows, and technical solutions

Minimum Requirements:

• 3 years of experience in ETL, Data Engineering, BI Development, or related fields
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric
• Strong experience with Python and SQL
• Experience building or maintaining ETL/data pipelines
• Experience working with relational databases and data warehouse concepts
• Comfortable working in agile or sprint-based environments
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Self-starter mentality with the ability to work proactively and independently
• Bachelor's degree required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Azure Data Factory, Synapse, or Power BI
• Experience supporting reporting or analytics teams
• Exposure to automated testing or DataOps best practices
• Relevant side projects demonstrating initiative and technical curiosity
• Experience supporting marketing, operations, finance, or analytics-focused data environments
