Job Description

At Spencer Quarries Incorporated, we are seeking an energetic and dedicated individual to join our team as a Equipment Operator for our commercial asphalt division. As a Equipment Operator, your primary responsibility will be to operator equipment in various compacity. Commercial Asphalt operates newer Equipment.

We are a EOE & a Pre employement Drug Screen & Physical is required.

Pay: $25 / hr DOE

This is a Construction Season Full Time position with full benefits

What to expect on with this job

• Hours are usually 10 plus hrs / day 5 days a week - rarely a Saturday work
• Some travel required in the Southeast area of State
• Depending on Jobsite - overnight stays are suggested but not required

Responsibilities

• Provide operation of equipment to the asphalt crew.
• Assist in the preparation, installation, and repair of asphalt surfaces.
• Operate hand tools, shovels, and other equipment as necessary.
• Follow safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe work environment.

Requirements

• Operator Equipment in a safe manor.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy objects and working in various weather conditions.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn from experienced team members.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
