Job Description

Pride Health is hiring for an EMT to support our client’s medical facility based in Hazle Township, PA 18202 . This is a 6-month opportunity (possibility of extension) and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Responsibilities:

• Provide first aid support for occupational and non-occupational injuries.
• Minimize injury risk through education and proactive engagement with associates.
• Maintain and document all medical records of care provided.
• Oversee the workers' compensation program and manage return-to-work processes.
• Submit daily activity logs and end-of-shift reports.
• Engage with associates on the operations floor, providing coaching on safe work habits and at-risk behaviors.
• Maintain a clean medical environment and ensure medical supplies are well-stocked.
• Participate in First Aid, CPR, and AED training and maintain certifications.
• Assist with drug testing protocols and emergency care delivery.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Must have a valid card evidencing successful completion of a First Aid certification, CPR, and AED course from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

Must have one of the following:

• Current valid Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) OR Paramedic Certification from the Department of Health OR the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT); OR
• In the last year, six months job experience in the Military as a Combat Medic (U.S. Army), Field Medic (U.S. Army), Healthcare Specialist (U.S. Army), Hospital Corpsman (U.S. Navy), or Aerospace Medical Service Technician (U.S. Air Force); OR
• Current active Athletic Trainer Certification, by either the Board of Certification (BOC) or equivalent State Certification.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Certified to teach first aid, CPR, and AED training from American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Experience with an industrial wellness program
• Experience managing musculoskeletal disorders, ergonomics, and coaching on body mechanics
• Demonstrated work experience with OSHA regulations and Workers Compensation
• Proficient in digital recordkeeping

Job Title: Emergency Medical Technician

Location : Hazle Township, PA 18202

Training Schedule: Monday – Friday 09:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Shift Schedule: Wednesday - Saturday 6:00 PM - 4:30 AM

Pay Range : $26/hr to $34/hr (Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.)
