About NowDental of Suffolk

Located in Smithtown, NY, our modern facility features 9 operatories and cutting-edge technology, including 3D imaging, digital impressions, and laser dentistry. Our team is dedicated to offering a wide range of services, from general and cosmetic dentistry to Invisalign®, periodontal treatments, and same-day crowns.

Your Role as a Dental Hygienist

  • Greet and prepare patients for dental hygiene procedures
  • Perform professional cleanings, scaling, root planing, and fluoride treatments
  • Educate and motivate patients to achieve optimal oral health
  • Conduct diagnostic assessments, including capturing and interpreting x-rays
  • Assist in identifying periodontal and restorative needs and collaborate with the dentist to deliver seamless care
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and OSHA-compliant treatment area

What You Bring

  • Education: Associate degree or higher from an ADA-accredited dental hygiene program
  • Licenses : Active NY state dental hygiene license and CPR certification
  • Experience : 1+ year of dental hygiene experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome!
  • Skills: Certification in anesthesia is a plus but not required

Schedule

  • Flexible Hours : Monday–Thursday, with alternating Friday and Saturday shifts.
