Corrections officers for the Miami County Sheriff’s Office are responsible for the intake and release and daily observation of inmates. We currently operate on 12-hour shifts from 7a-7p and 7p-7a which offers correction officers every other weekend off and the ability to work 7 days in a 14-day period.
