Job Description

Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join a growing financial services firm. This role is critical in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience working in Sage and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely reconciliation of accounts
  • Process invoices, payments, and expense tracking
  • Assist with month-end close and financial reporting
  • Support internal teams with financial data and documentation as needed
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting best practices

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
  • Hands-on experience with Sage (required)
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Preferred:

  • Experience within the insurance or financial services industry

Additional Details:

  • Onsite during initial onboarding period, with opportunity to transition to a hybrid schedule
  • Interview process includes a virtual interview followed by an onsite meeting
