Job Title: Bookkeeper

Location: Manhattan, NY

Type: Permanent

Schedule: Onsite

Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to support day-to-day financial operations and oversee general office functions. This role is ideal for someone who can balance bookkeeping responsibilities with administrative oversight in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage full-cycle bookkeeping using QuickBooks Desktop
  • Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
  • Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Maintain accurate financial records and assist with reporting
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes
  • Oversee daily office operations, supplies, and vendor coordination
  • Serve as a point of contact for internal staff and external partners
  • Assist with general administrative tasks and office management duties

Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Desktop (required)
  • Strong MS Excel skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • Payroll processing experience
  • Prior supervisory or team lead experience
  • Experience with multi-entity bookkeeping
