Skye Link Media is a premium creative team based out of Enventys Studios in Uptown Charlotte. We make cinematic, high-taste content for founders, brands, and events—and that means the audio has to be clean, consistent, and intentional.

We’re looking for a local Audio Specialist to support us primarily on a contract basis. The core need is production audio on select shoots plus post cleanup/mixing for deliverables. This isn’t positioned as a guaranteed full-time role—but if there’s strong alignment, reliability, and you’re the kind of “Swiss Army knife” who can grow with a lean team, there’s room for this to expand into a bigger lane over time.

What you’ll do

You’ll help ensure audio is solid at capture and polished in post—especially for interviews, studio content, and occasional events/activations. This role matters because sound is often the difference between “good enough” and “this feels expensive.”

Responsibilities

Support production audio when needed (multi-channel recording, levels, mic placement, troubleshooting)

Clean up and mix audio in post (dialogue clarity, EQ, compression, noise reduction, consistent levels)

Balance music and dialogue so the final feels natural and elevated

Add light sound design when it genuinely improves the cut (tasteful ambience, transitions, impacts)

Deliver audio that stays consistent across formats and platforms

Help us build simple, repeatable standards so audio quality doesn’t depend on luck

What we’re looking for

Charlotte-local (or close) and able to be on-site when needed

Strong in production audio, post audio, or both—and willing to keep growing

Detail-oriented with a real ear for clean dialogue and tasteful mixing

Reliable and easy to work with: responsive, on time, follows through

Cares about craft and quality, not shortcuts

Bonus

Experience with live/event environments

Comfort collaborating with editors via Frame.io/timecode notes

• Good music instincts (selection, pacing, and mixing choices)
