Job Description:
As an Application Tester, you will be responsible for system testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), requirements validation, and automation testing for enterprise applications. You will work closely with project teams and stakeholders to ensure software quality, validate business requirements, manage defects, and support continuous improvement of testing processes and automation frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and execute test cases, test scenarios, and validation activities for enterprise applications.
• Perform system testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and requirements verification.
• Develop test result reports and communicate testing outcomes to project stakeholders.
• Document testing procedures, standards, and best practices for testing teams.
• Identify, document, track, and support resolution of application defects.
• Validate Requirements Traceability Matrices (RTM) and ensure complete test coverage.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance automation testing frameworks and test suites.
• Integrate automated testing solutions with DevOps and continuous delivery processes.
• Execute API, web services, database, and end-to-end testing activities.
• Prepare presentations, testing summaries, and status reports for business and technical stakeholders.

Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, and enterprise application validation.
• Experience testing web services using SoapUI, Postman, or similar tools.
• Strong knowledge of automation testing frameworks, data-driven testing, and test reporting tools such as Extent Reports.
• Proficiency in C# or Java programming and understanding of software design patterns.
• Experience working with SQL Server and developing complex SQL queries for data validation.
• Knowledge of SOA technologies, XML standards, and integrated enterprise systems.
• Experience with GitHub, DevOps integration, and automation framework lifecycle management.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, defect management, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, documentation, collaboration, and stakeholder management abilities.

The hourly range for roles of this nature are $40.00 to $55.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
